Dr. Abdulmalik Mahmood
Dr. Mahmood is a family physician with more than two decades of clinical experience across the UK, Gibraltar, Nigeria, the Middle East and Australia. He also spent time as a ship's doctor in New Zealand and Southeast Asia, caring for patients in a wide range of settings around the world.
He graduated from Cardiff University Medical School in 2002 and completed his Family Medicine residency in Scotland in 2010. His approach is practical and patient-centred: he listens first, explains things clearly, and works with you to make informed, sensible choices about your health.
Now practising at Jefferson Medical Centre in Winnipeg's North End, Dr. Mahmood welcomes new patients and families. Outside the clinic, he enjoys time with his family, cycling, swimming, reading, travelling, and a good cup of coffee.
